Head Chef

We are looking to recruit an experienced Head Chef to join a 100m+ vessel ASAP.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Applicants must have exceptional culinary knowledge, style and presentation skills, including a broad knowledge of international cuisine and techniques.

Applicants must demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure, remain calm and courteous at all times and demonstrate a positive attitude.

Applicants must be capable and confident speaking and writing in English.

Certification Requirements:

In order to apply you must hold:

• Valid International Passport
• Valid Seafarer's Discharge Book
• Valid Seafarer's Medical (valid at minimum 6 months)
• Valid Ship's Cooks Certificate/Chef Degree
• Valid Food Hygiene Level 2
• Valid STCW Elementary First Aid
• Valid STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
• Valid STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
• Valid STCW Personal Survival Techniques
• Valid STCW Security Awareness/ STCW Proficiency in designated Security Duties

Preferable certification:

• Valid Passenger Safety Training (Crowd Management at minimum)
