Technical Superintendent - Tankers

Our client in Singapore is looking for an experienced Tanker Technical Superintendent to join their technical department in Singapore.  This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career further within a strong company in Singapore.  

The Successful Applicant

• Ideally you will have experience as Chief Engineer on Deep Sea Tankers.
• Experience in a shore side role – ideal 2-3 years.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience on deep sea tankers.
• Effective use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
• You will have carried out several Dry Docking’s from a shore based position.

Job Description

Working within the Technical department you will be expected to monitor the performance and documentation of the vessels you are managing.  You will be expected to review, arrange and carry out planned maintenance of each of the vessels under your management.   As a Tanker Technical Superintendent, you will be expected to utilise your previous dry-docking experience and carry out dry dockings, both routine and unplanned, in an efficient manner on time and within budget.
