Software Roll Out Training lead required to join our maritime client in Gourock.  You will be leading the roll out of the software enhancements on the identified vessels to the agreed plan and budget. Ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are engaged so that the deliverables are signed off.   Plan the vessel visits and communications which ensure that the crew are prepared, and all required work is completed in advance. Ensure that all resources/ materials are available for the training/ roll out. Liaise with the external provider to create/ develop the training sessions/ materials. Ensure the enhancements are ready to be ‘switched on’ for each vessel.  Handover to Business as Usual (BAU) once each vessel is enabled.

Job Description

    Reporting to the Supply Chain/ Logistics Project Lead in relation to all aspects of performance and progress on the project, your role duties will include:  

  • Software Enhancements Training Pack and supporting e-Learning toolkit - Support the development by Versko and sign off
  • Engagement and working relationship with Versko in delivering the roll out and training
  • Develop the CPS Enhancements roll out plan and the supporting logistics
  • Develop and agree the Min/ Max/ Re Order quantities with each vessel identified
  • Develop and agree the identified Master Part Records
  • Delivery of the CPS Enhancements and the relevant training on the vessels
  • Develop and deliver the processes for handing the enhancements over to BAU successfully
  • Project management activities relating to the deliverables and the wider project and programme governance
  • Lead the visit to each identified vessel
  • Stakeholder engagement and related communications
