Grapefruit Recruitment is looking for a forward-thinking, determined and experienced Sales / Business Development Executive for a worldwide logistics company based in the North East UK who offer their services to the shipping, air freight and road transportation industry.

This is a new position created to help expand the business, so candidates will be responsible for increasing export and import volumes, making cold calls to potential clients, whilst continuing to protect and nurture existing customers. Candidates will be expected to understand the market and assist with the Companies marketing strategy in order to grow the business.

Candidates will have a successful track record in freight sales and have experience in moving freight in the UK and abroad.

This position offers a salary of up to £30k plus bonus, pension, private health care and 25 days’ holiday plus statutory. The Company will also provide car, laptop and phone. This is a permanent position working an average of 37.5 hours per week.   There is no relocation packag, so candidates must live in the UK.
