LNG Dry Docking Superintendent

Our client in South Korea is currently searching for an experienced LNG Dry Docking Superintendent.  They have several vessels that will be commencing contracts in early 2018 and they require candidates with excellent experience working with LNG Carriers to manage and initiate their Dry-Docking schedule.   Our client requires experienced candidates to assist them with their upcoming and continuous Dry-Docking plans for their LNG fleet.  The successful Dry-Docking Superintendent candidates will liaise with our clients Technical Department and create Dry Docking specifications, supervise the overall procedure and ensure works are carried out on time and within budget.   This role will predominately be based in Seoul, South Korea although there will be occasions when you will be required to visit Shipyards across South Korea and China.  

About Our Client

Our client is an international ship owner, based in Asia.  They own and operate a large fleet consisting of Bulk Carriers / Tankers / Containers / LNG Vessels / PSV and AHTS across Asia.  

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Dry Dockings of LNG Carriers
• Must have previous experience as a Chief Engineer, preferably with LNG Carriers
• Previous experience creating Dry-Docking Specifications
• Ideally, previous experience working abroad preferably in Korean / Chinese Shipyards
• Ideally available on a short notice period up to 1 month
