Ship Manager / Technical Superintedent

Grapefruit Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Chief Engineer / Technical Superintendent for a Dredging Company in the UK.

You will provide technical support, planned maintenance, co-ordinate and prepare vessels for drydock, budget for spares and negotiate with suppliers. Carry out regular vessel inspections to ensure vessels comply with both regulatory and company procedures ready for inspections and ensure safe operation of the vessels.

Candidates applying for this role must hold a Chief Engineer COC and have existing shore based experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar with experience managing or sailing on dredgers.
