Senior Charterer

Grapefruit Recruitment is looking for a Senior Charterer for our client in Germany. You will be joining a team of experienced charters for this expanding company.

As Senior Charterer you will be highly motivated, following market developments and analysing vessel employment options. You will be responsible for voyage and time charter calculations, negotiating fixed market vessels and follow up with all associated reporting and paperwork of your own vessels.

Candidates must have over 10 years’ experience of dry cargo chartering of both handy size and Panamax tonnage. You must have excellent communication skills and the willingness to travel to promote both the company and new business.
You must be fluent in English.

Salary will be dependent on previous back ground and experience.
