Technical Superintendent (Marine)


Grapefruit Recruitment is looking for a Marine Technical Superintendent for a large South Coast Port. As Technical Superintendent you will work closely with operational, service engineers and business managers. You will be responsible for the all the technical and engineering support and maintenance for the Port. Support and liaise with customers both internally and externally, providing the appropriate service levels with cost and budgetary control and planning taken into consideration at all times. Candidates will assist the Port with planned maintenance and replacement of vessels. You will require to conform to and have a very good knowledge of all company and relevant statutory procedures.

To be considered for Technical Superintendent you will need to hold a valid Chief Engineers CoC and have seagoing experience on a variety of vessels, have a SMS, H&S, drydock and refit experience. Have good communication and time management skills and be flexible in your approach to working hours and meeting deadlines.
