Port Terminal Manager

Grapefruit Recruitment is currently looking for a Port Terminal Manager for a busy commercial East Coast Port.

The Port Terminal Manager will report to the Operation Manager and will be expected to manage the operations team. Responsibilities will include, management of site, vessel reporting and costing, ensure all staff and visiting contractors adhere to company health and safety procedures. You will be expected to carry out audits and ensure corrective procedures are put in place. Arrange planned maintenance on port equipment and arrange repairs where necessary. Heavy lift experience would be advantageous.

This role is key to port operations and would suit candidates with managerial experience with a marine, warehouse or construction background. The Port Terminal Manager will need to have good management and communication skills, be able to prioritise work load and be proactive in their approach.
