Certificates required:

  1. Chief Officer 1,500gt LEA or higher
  2. ENG1 (Unrestricted)
  3. Security Awareness / Designated Security Duties
  4. Fire Fighting (Advanced), Prof in survival craft, Personal Survival Techniques, Basic Fire Fighting – Refreshed to 2010
  5. Medical First Aid
  6. Elementary First Aid
  7. Personal and Social Responsibility (if held)
  8. GMDSS
  9. ARPA

Candidates must hold all of the above documentation and time served as chief officer

Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications

Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
