Deck Rating Training Programme 2017

We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates keen to begin a rewarding career at sea with one of the world's leading ferry operators.

Through our fully funded Deck Ratings Training Programme you will undertake a 2-year apprenticeship; splitting your time between college education at Fleetwood Nautical Campus and on-job training aboard Stena Line's Irish Sea fleet of modern passenger ferries.

Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, you will gain a position within the Irish Sea Stena Line Fleet, with a certificate of competency as a fully qualified Able Seafarer.

In your role at sea you will help ensure the smooth sailing of ship operations by carrying out a variety of physical duties, within a supportive team and under the guidance of experienced officers.
