Technical Manager

We (Worldwide Recruitment Solutions) are urgently seeking a experienced Technical Manager for a permeant position within a reputable Marine company.

The position is to work as a Technical Manager in Greece, the duties for this role will include the following:

• Managing 10-15 Carrier vessels
• Closely monitor performance of all vessels. Plan and control all activities connected with safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Ensure the proper and timely support of company ships with regard to repairs and technical problems.
• Co-ordinate day to day operation of the vessels and coordinate with other departments for the smooth operation of the vessels.
• Evaluate all incoming reports from the vessels. Identify areas which require immediate attention and take corrective actions.
• Ensure all classification and statutory survey status is maintained, all surveys are carried out within the due dates and that all trading certificates are valid.

The successful applicant will have 10 years onshore/ office experience and holds a Engineering University degree along with Marine Technology and Maritime studies.

Due to the job being based in Greece, Greek nationals would be preferred as the client does not provide a Relocation package
