We are looking for a Chief Engineer to join a great professional yacht where you will enjoy the benefits of having shore side (shared) accommodation and the opportunity to discover the Middle Eastern lifestyle. Please note that this yacht only cruises local waterways.
You will be a ‘hands on’ Chief Engineer that has excellent leadership skills and can motivate your department, which includes a 2nd Engineer and an ETO. Experience in working with MTU 400 series engines would be a bonus, you will have all a solid all round knowledge including the latest computer systems. Your English proficiency will be excellent and you will be a clear and concise communicator.

Qualifications & Desired Attributes:

• Y2, Y1, Class 1 or Chief Engineer III/2
• Minimum 3 years’ experience on similar size yacht.
• Excellent Computer Skills
• STCW Basic Training
• Security awareness or designated security duties certificate
• Seafarers Medical
• Team player – “hands on”
• Good communicator and comfortable around guests
• Excellent presentation.
• Non-smoker
• No Visible tattoos

Salary: €9.000/month paid in AED (local currency), 30 days leave and 1 return flight per year. Based on a 5-day working week.
