General Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to work on a short term (4month approx.) contract in Croydon

Our client is a leading UK supplier responsible for a number of public sector contracting opportunities.

Experience of using Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI).
Extensive experience with financial accounting systems such as Adelphi (Oracle), to record, report and monitor Accounts Payable and/or Purchase Requisition transactions
Intermediate/Advanced Excel
Proven track record in managing large transactional teams and resolving performance issues.
Promotes and enforces appropriate business rules.
Extensive knowledge of public sector finance processes and procedures
Leads by example when incurring expenditure and managing business relationships and risks.

Lead and develop staff to deliver performance and functional objectives
Ensure that staff resources are used effectively and workloads managed.
Analyse statistical reports and ensure remedial actions are taken; seek ways to reduce team transaction volumes and ensure resources are used efficiently.
Monitor performance against service level agreements and targets.
Work with business partners to review process issues and implement continuous improvement.
