Dry Docking Specialist (Bulk Carrier / Container Vessels)

General Job Description

Our client requires experienced candidates to assist them with their upcoming and continuous Dry Docking plans for their Bulker and Container fleets.  The successful Dry Docking Specialist candidates will liaise with our clients Technical Department and create Dry Docking specifications, supervise the overall procedure and ensure works are carried out on time and within budget.   This role will predominately be based in South Korea although there will be occasions when you will be required to visit Shipyards across South Korea and China.  

About Our Client

Our client is an international ship owner, based in Asia.  They own and operate a large fleet consisting of Bulk Carriers / Tankers / Containers / LNG Vessels / PSV and AHTS across Asia.  

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Dry Dockings of either Bulk Carriers / Container Vessels
• Must have previous experience as a Chief Engineer, preferably with Bulk Carriers / Container Vessels
• Previous experience creating Dry-Docking Specifications
• Ideally, previous experience working abroad preferably in Korean / Chinese Shipyards
• Ideally available on a short notice period up to 1 month
