Captain needed ASAP for 100m+ M/Y (CAPC)

• Are you a great leader and crew manager?
• Do you have solid “large yacht” or cruise ship experience (5yrs+)?
• 3:3 rotation position!

This is a great job for a suitably experienced Superyacht and/or Passenger/Cruise ship Captain. You’ll need Master Mariner (class 1)
This enormous and impressive yacht travels worldwide so be prepared to start your new adventure!

For this role, you will have the following Qualifications:

• COC Master of Ships
• SSO, GMDSS, ECDIS, Medical care, HLO, PWC, AFF
• Fast Rescue Boat or Proficiency in Survival Craft Certificate
• Passenger Safety Certificate
• STCW Basic Safety Training certificates
• Seaman’s Discharge Book, valid passport, and current ENG1
• Valid Passport

You will also have the following Experience/Attributes:

• AT LEAST 5+ years Maritime experience as Captain on Passenger/Cruise ships or 80m+ yachts.
• Superior leadership, communication, management and diplomacy skills – your team of over 50 crew needs a confident and effective leader!
• Refit experience
• Excellent navigational skills and knowledge of ISM and ISPS practices, IBS / ECDIS
• Excellent maintenance, engineering and technical / troubleshooting experience
• Ability to remain calm and give directions in an emergency situation
• Organized and methodical
• Good financial management skills * note: there is a dedicated Purser onboard.
• Professional appearance - no visible tattoos
• Fit and healthy with a good work ethic
• Complete English fluency is required (spoken and written)

Salary & Conditions: €14 000/month depending on experience/qualifications, 182 days, Rotation 3:3
