Chief Officer for private 80-m M/Y based in the UAE (COAM)

We're looking for a self-motivated Chief Officer with great ‘people skills’ and excellent boat handling and navigational skills. This extraordinary motoryacht mostly cruises the local area, therefore there is not a lot of sea-time to be had although previous experience with Middle Eastern owners will give you an advantage.

For this role, you will have the following Qualifications:

• Chief Officer
• 5 years’ sea service experience on 60-m+ Motoryachts
• GMDSS and ECDIS certified
• Crowd and Crisis Management and HELM an advantage
• Knowledge of ISM and ISPS practices
• International Passport
• Seafarer discharge book
• Seafarer medical ( valid min 6 month)
• STCW Basic safety training including Security Awareness
• International driver license

For this role, you will have the following experience / attributes;

• 5+ Years’ Maritime experience on 60m+ yachts
• Experience working with Arabic owners an advantage
• Excellent boat handling & navigational skills
• Organized and methodical
• Excellent computer skills
• Professional appearance - No visible Tattoos
• Non smoker
• Male only due to cabin arrangements

Start date: September 2017
Salary: €6,800 per month with 45 days annual leave per year. One return economy flight provided.
