Our award-winning shipbuilding client in Port Glasgow requires a Head of Sales to play a leading role in sourcing new business to support their ambitious growth plans.

The Successful Applicant

• Demonstrable experience and success within a similar role and industry
• Educated to degree level
• Excellent and proven experience of shipbuilding (ferries and tugs) and the Ministry of Defence
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present confidently and with credibility
• Must have the right to work in the UK

Job Description

As part of the management team, you will be responsible for:

• Establishing a strong customer base and healthy pipeline of enquiries for all areas of business, for supporting cost estimation and tender preparation, monitoring and updating the status of live projects and understanding and identifying resource requirements to deliver projects.
• Oversee the development of high quality presentation materials to communicate the company’s capability and for promoting the profile of the business through all other appropriate methods
