Marine Design Engineer, responsible for the design and engineering of ships piping and mechanical systems, machinery and installations, required to join our Glasgow based client.  

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience (and recent background) within shipbuilding
• Recognised qualification in Marine Design Engineering
• Professional technical experience, within the Shipbuilding industry,
• Experienced working within complex project environments within commercial businesses.
• Proficient expertise are a must in detailed engineering with Calculation & Engineering software; with 2D & 3D CAD software and Office software, especially MS Excel.

Job Description

• Align, collaborate, and provide expertise and technical information to Customers, Company Depts. and third parties (subcontractors, suppliers).
• Ensuring that deliverables comply with project requirements (specs, budget, time) and applicable law and regulations.
