General Job Description 

Our client, based on the outskirts of Glasgow, is seeking a Bid Manager to join their team.  The Bid Manager is responsible for preparing and submitting completed bids to existing and prospective clients and will report directly to the Managing Director.

The Successful Applicant 

  • Demonstrable experience and success within shipbuilding and Ministry of Defence
  • Educated to degree level
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proficient in MS Office Software

Job Description

  • Identify, track and manage bid opportunities
  • Manage the initial review of Invitation to Tender documents to establish the scope of work.
  • Preparation and submission of details quotations, as well as leading on follow up reviews with customers on bids.
