Our client based in the Netherlands requires maritime professionals who are interested in becoming Engineering Assessors and available to work on a contract basis.   

About Our Client

Established since 2009, our client is a world class marine training centre based in Netherlands, specialising in safety and excellence in maritime operations.  They have advanced simulator equipment and technology and provide first- class maritime training.

The Successful Applicant

• Typically be or have been in the role of Chief Engineer
• Cruise Ship experience is required
• Availability of a minimum of 10 weeks throughout the year
• Previous experience in the role of Assessor in maritime simulator settings is preferred
• Previous Instructor experience is beneficial

Job Description

As an Assessor, you will be working as an external faculty in addition to the company’s team, guaranteeing an independent view of the evaluations. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessment of participants in adherence with company standards
• Provision of feedback to participants
• Review of assessment performance
• Writing reports
