Grapefruit Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Deputy Fleet Manager for a large container company based in the UK.

The Deputy Fleet Manager reports to the Fleet Manager, duties include preparing regular reports, vessel performance, ordering and invoicing, coordinating dry docks, flag state class and surveys, new builds and sale of tonnage, liaise with vessel crew management department for core crew requirements and ship board organisation including emergency response and planning.

Candidates applying for the Deputy Fleet Manager need to be technically competent, have excellent communication and organisational skills, be a team player but also able to work independently and have a flexible attitude to work.
