Chief engineer AND temporary Second engineer wanted for a small steam passenger ship operated as a luxury yacht (80 m and 25-30 crew)

Responsible for the running and maintenance of engines and auxiliaries, you work with a third engineer, motormen and an electrician.

Ideally, you have a commercial background and passenger ship endorsements: STCW III/1 or III/2 (for the Chief engineer) up to 3000 kW minimum. You have documented experience with steam boilers and machinery. The engines are quadruple expansion reciprocating with mostly original auxiliaries, but recent diesel generators. This is a very work intensive gig for the coming two months as we are recommissioning the whole installation under class survey.

We are looking for non smoking candidates with no visible tattoos, good work ethics and willingness to learn as the installation is unusual these days. Absolutely fluent in English, but French, Italian or Russian a plus.
The boat is single season based in Monaco, so it is a full time job with 30 days paid leave and one return flight home per year.
The ship is now completing a refit and re-classification, so experience with class society work is a plus.

Start is ASAP.
