This is an amazing opportunity for a highly skilled Marine Automotive Diesel Mechanic interested in relocating to Australia.
A well-known marine services company, based in Gladesville Bridge Marina, Australia is urgently searching for a Marine Automotive Diesel Mechanic to assist its team in servicing and repairing petrol and diesel marine vessels according to the company’s specified set of standards. This company specialises in customising each maintenance package for the respective customer in order to ensure that quality service is provided.

Main Purpose of the Job:

• To deliver technical and diagnostic services on petrol and diesel engines
• To conduct routine maintenance and repairs on petrol and diesel engines for inboard and outboard vessels
• To repair mechanical equipment and components of the vessels

Experience:

• Currently working as a hands-on mechanic
• 5 or more years of experience in servicing and repairing petrol and diesel engines of vessels
• Experience with hydraulics, battery maintenance and electrical (Desirable)
• A completed apprenticeship

Minimum Qualifications:

• Grade 12/Matric Certificate
• A relevant certificate, diploma or similar qualification
• No Criminal Record
• Code 08 Driver’s Licence
• Skippers (Boaters) Licence (Desirable)
