HR Training Officer

A key position in the HR Management Team reporting to the Managing Director and liaising with the HR Manager. Will have the support of an administrator.

Responsible for the implementation of all aspects of the Group Training function including but not restricted to the development of a Training Policy and Handbook, determining a Training Plan to address the safety, commercial and compliance needs of the Group, identify and liaise with training providers and courses, scheduling training in conjunction with managers, maintaining training records and any other associated duties and responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified, with a relevant training qualification such as train the trainer.

Knowledge/experience of the marine industry would be a distinct advantage. Previous experience within a learning and development environment.

Proficient written and spoken communication skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, effective time management and organisation skills, flexible and proactive approach.
