We are looking for recruit a Tender Engineer for one of our clients based in Europe.
As Tender Engineer you will take a lead role driving the process from tender receipt through to contract execution.

The successful candidate will have:
- A BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering or equivalent degree, familiarity with Maritime/Offshore regulation.
- Any education or training in commercial sales would be beneficial
- A strong interest for bridging commercial and technical issues, ability to quickly digest technical information and prioritize by importance and commercial impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate technical matters effectively to audiences at all levels. Experience with technical sales, tendering and negotiations would be highly beneficial.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience within Offshore Oil & Gas, Wind, Subsea, Heavy-Lift sectors, ideally including offshore / seagoing experience
- Technical drawing (AutoCAD and Inventor)
- English fluency written and spoken
Key duties are:
- Receive tenders from the market, and work with in-house specialists to identify and evaluate technical contents, cost-drivers and risk factors.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders e.g. Vessel crew, Clients, Suppliers, and Project Partners.
- Prepare documents for tender submission incl. technical qualifications, preliminary method statements, time schedules, technical drawings (AutoCAD)
- Perform tender-stage engineering such as vessel positioning, deck layouts and lifting plans, soil review, and early-stage structural assessments of proposed solutions
- Attend client clarification meetings, negotiations and support contract execution
- Keep updated with developments in the market and technical advances within the offshore wind segment, and support in-house business development efforts.

Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
Please sign up for STCW courses and obtain the certificates if you don't have them yet.
