Driller

Our highly prestigious client based in Aberdeen is looking to recruit a Driller on a permanent basis. The role will initially be based in South Korea commencing in September. In May 2014 the successful candidate will be placed on a 4/4 rotation until the installation moves to where it will be based off the West Coast of Shetland thereafter onto 3/3 rotation.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Prepare requisitions for spares\consumables
Assist HSE Safety Case
Assist the Site Project Team
Hands-on follow-up of drilling commissioning
Approving of the functionality of the drilling equipment on drill floor
Assist in establishing systems
Assist in integrating test procedures
Position of driller in rig operations
Part of the commissioning team
Evaluate standards and regulations

Qualifications/experience

Valid IWCF\IADC - BOP Certificate, Driller level (subsea)
Experience within mobile offshore units/projects
Experience as driller/assistant driller of mobile units
Good communicator with excellent organisation and planning skills
