Galley Steward for M/Y 100-m+ in Europe (GASM)

We are looking for a Galley Steward with previous yachting and/or Cruise Ship experience who is willing to learn and develop from their Head Chef and other colleagues in the Galley. You will assist with food preparation, the maintenance of cleanliness and keep high standards of hygiene in the galley, mess rooms, pantries and storerooms.

Required Qualifications & Attributes:

• Food & Hygiene Certificate
• Food and Hygiene Level 2 Certificate
• Passenger Safety Certificate
• International Passport
• Seafarer Discharge Book
• ENG1 Seafarer medical cert (min. 1 year validity)
• STCW Basic safety training including Security Awareness
• Fluent English (spoken & written)

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position on yachts or cruise ships
• Perform all other duties as directed by Head Chef
• Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a positive attitude
• Have attention to detail.
• Must have a high standard of personal organisation and hygiene
• Be fit and active

Salary: 2700 Euro per month | 61 days leave per year | 2 return flights per year.
Start Date: 1st December, 2016
