Chartering Manager (based in Hong Kong)

You will have overall responsibility of the Chartering desk, including managing the team and day-to-day operations As the client has in-house dry bulk cargoes, you will manage time charter and voyage chartered vessels for them Maintain and continue existing relationship with ship owners, charterers, agents, brokers Be involved in commercial negotiations and chartering strategies

To be considered for this position, you will have:

Over 5 years of experience in Chartering, particularly in handling dry cargoes Experience in working in a trading house or shipping companies with understanding of chartering and logistics Excellent communication skills and be able to deal with multicultural work environment As this role is based either in Hong Kong or Singapore, knowledge of Chinese or Cantonese language is admired
