Base Master Plymouth

We are currently recruiting for a Base Master, to join our client’s company, working out of their base at Plymouth, UK.

As Base Master your duties will include the control and co-ordination of all vessels attached to the base, providing an efficient service to their customers.

In addition to the Base Master duties, you will sail as Master on one of their 27m vessels. As Master you will be responsible for all shipboard operations, ensuring that the vessel operates in line with company procedures.

Applicants are required to hold a full and valid driving licence and must live within a daily commutable distance of Plymouth.  They must also have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years and if successful will be subject to security clearance.

Previous small vessel experience / handling would be advantageous.

Salary is in the region of £36,000.00 per annum. This is initially a 12month fixed term contract

The successful candidate will need to hold the following;

1. CoC STCW Master II/3 near coastal 500gt (Minimum)
2. ENG1 (Unrestricted)
3. Full UK driving Licence
4. GMDSS
5. ARPA
6. STCW Basic Safety Training – EFA, FPFF, PST, CPSC
7. Passport
8. Discharge Book
