Crewing Officer: A Crewing Officer with ambitions to pursue a rewarding career in account management and staffing is required to join our growing, global company. We're looking to recruit this Crewing Officer to start straight away and work with one of our key clients. No previous experience of working in this area is required as we have an award-winning training programme and an in-house Learning and Development Manager to help you learn the ropes. The role:
- Liaising with new and returning crew, ensuring that they receive clear instructions about their crew rotation, including accommodation and travel.
- Administer rotation schedules for crew and keep track of anyone who fails to return or misses a flight.
- Identify vacancies and source candidates to fill these positions.
- Ensure compliance with marine legislation, including Flag State License and STCW regulations.
The candidate:
- Previous experience of marine crewing, logistics or international travel would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Good organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills - in this role you'll be liaising with crew, travel providers and acting as an account manager for one of our key clients so a focus on customer service is essential.
