Third Mate

We are currently looking for a Third Mate to join our Marine department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exterior/interior maintenance, stewarding and guest services. Position is not live-aboard while at home port. During cruising season, Mates work 2 - 3 week assignments in the islands. Duties include cleaning the vessels, serving cocktails or dinner, etc., to guests, giving guests tours of the vessels, assisting with snorkeling, fishing or sightseeing trips and other miscellaneous duties.

Job Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Prior yachting/boating experience preferred.
3. Desire to pursue career in marine industry required.
4. Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and professional demeanor required.
5. Ability to travel 2 to 3 weeks per month throughout the year.
6. Must possess a valid US driver's license and a current passport.
7. Ability to work well with all levels of individuals.
8. Ability to assist guests with swimming and snorkeling activities.
9. Ability to adhere to strict no-smoking guidelines while aboard.
