Crewing officer

We are currently looking for a Crewing Officer to join a large offshore shipping company based in Rotterdam. We are ideally looking for someone who is already located in Rotterdam. This position comes with an excellent salary and package.

You must have experience in the following:

• Understand the crewing needs of various types of Offshore Vessels and the certificates required.
• Have previous experience vetting CV's for sea going positions.
• Ensuring crew documents and certificates are up to date as per regulations.
• Have experience implementing contracts in line with MLC regulations.
• Manage placing of existing personnel as per relevant experience.
• Arrange training courses.
• Excellent knowledge of excel and crew databases.
• Ensure accurate and timely approval of accounts and expenses for recharging and reimbursement.
• Ensure all administration and reporting are kept up to date Personnel files; database; crewing department spreadsheets; crewing department and personal KPIs.
• Review and understand risk assessments and permits to work.
• Communicate companies HSE policies and publications.
• Take action on company's discipline and grievance procedures.
