Site Supervisor ( New Building)

We are looking for a Site Supervisor (New Building) for a client located in the UAE.

Job Purpose:
New Building yard functioning as a Site Supervisor to carry out pot and scheduled inspections on all actives undertaken by the yard at every stage of the vessel build, monitoring and reporting on site safety and other day to day actives within the yard.

Minimum Qualifications required:
Diploma level education in Mechanical Engineering, Ship building, Marine Engineering
Technical qualification in Industrial Sciences, option Electromechanical Engineering
Training qualification in non- destructive materials testing procedures.

Minimum Experience:
5 years' experience as New Build Site Inspector
5 years' experience as Charge Hand/ Foreman/QA Inspector for a ship builder.

You must:
Have a solid understanding of Shipbuilding production activates of the disciplines assigned to monitor.
Solid experience and understanding of Shipbuilding principals and processes.
The ability to read and understand technical drawings
Familiar with the rules of the major Class Societies, Statutory regulations and requirements. (ABS, DNV-GL,BV).

The rotation will be 2 months on 2 weeks off. The job will be 5 days a week 8 hours a day.

Location of the two Ship yards are Romania and Vietnam.
