Purser / Catering Officer - Research Vessel

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Purser Catering Officer to join our client’s research vessel.

A 2 day handover will be provided;

Dates: 23 June 2016 – 07 July 2016 including 25 days per month accrued leave. (Please note travel may depart 1 day prior to this start date)

Ports joining & Leaving: Southampton / Ponta Delgada

Salary: £36,620 - £45,189 (dependent on experience)

Purser Catering Officer certification:

• Seafarer Medical Certificate (ENG1) without restrictions
• STCW basic safety training (Fire fighting, Personal survival techniques, Personal safety & social responsibility, Elementary first aid)
• EU Passport
• Discharge book
• Health and Hygiene cert MLC approved
• Certificate of Competency Part 1&2 (MCA) Ships Cook Certificate or equivalent catering qualifications and experience.
• Designated Security duties
