Simulator Suite Manager / Assistant Harbour Master

My Client operates a large port in Pembrokeshire and they are currently looking for a Simulator Suite Business Manager to run, develop and grow the simulator business.

Reporting to the Harbour Master, your duties will include managing the VTS (Vessel Traffic Services) team and simulator suite. Candidates need to have a Class 1 Certificate of Competency or V013 qualification with sound commercial and financial experience to be able to produce management reports. You will be required to act as Duty Harbour Master from time to time so a flexible approach to working patterns is a must.

Excellent communication skills are essential (in order to be able to talk to potential customers, suppliers, colleagues and reporting to the board of directors) along with with good IT literacy. Previous VTS and training qualification would be desirable.
