Temporary Chief Engineer – 3 month Trip – St Maarten – Immediate Start – B1B2 VISA

Change internationals client, a leading yacht management company now urgently requires a temporary Chief Engineer to join their 40M Yacht currently in St Maarten. This is a 3 month trip which will involve an Atlantic crossing back to the Mediterranean for the summer season.

As Chief Engineer you will be responsible for the day to day management of the engine room. Additional responsibilities will include:

- Management of the 2nd Engineer
- Liaison with the Master and Chief officer
- Ensure that planned maintenance is kept up to date
- Ensure that machinery is compliant with flag and international standards
- Upkeep of vessel paperwork
- Ordering spare parts as required

Requirements:

- Chief Engineer COC
- USB1B2 VISA
- Immediately available
- Able to remain on board for around 3 months
- STCW Basic Safety Training
- Advanced Fire Fighting
- Minimum of 2 years experience as Chief Engineer

Salary: 6000 EUR per month
