Permanent Chief Engineer – 80M+ MY – Immediate Start – Middle East

Change internationals client now urgently requires a Chief Engineer with Motor Yacht or Luxury Cruise Line industry experience to join their Privately owned 80M+ Motor Yacht currently in the Middle East. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a permanent position on board a state of the art yacht with a great team.
Please note that this is an immediate requirement.

As Chief Engineer you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and repair of the yacht ensuring that all systems are working correctly. Additional responsibilities will include:

- Keeping planned maintenance up to date
- Management of the 2nd Engineer
- Ensuring that systems on board remain compliant with international and flag state standards
- Liaising with the Master and onshore support as required
- Coordination of dry dock and refit periods
- Ensuring that spare parts are well stocked

Requirements:

- Chief Engineer Unlimited COC OR Y1 Certified
- STCW Basic Safety Training
- Immediately available
- Able to undertake a permanent position with 48 days paid leave per anum
- Minimum of 6 years engineering experience on board a Yacht or Luxury Cruise Line
- Minimum of 2 years experience as Chief Engineer on a yacht or luxury cruise line

Salary and benefits:
Annual salary of around 110,000 EUR
48 Days paid annual leave
2 return flights home paid
3 month probation period
