Marine Superintendent - Cyprus

A Major shipping company with new offices in Cyprus seeks to employ an experienced Marine Superintendent in Limassol, Cyprus. Applications are invited from seasoned candidates with experience at sea and have also been office based.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the assigned vessels operate and perform in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. 
• Monitors and controls the smooth operation of the assigned vessels within budget and based on company’s SMS policies/procedures, maritime rules/regulations and industry standards. 
• Reports to the Marine Manager. 

Candidate Profile:

• The ideal candidate must have at least 8 years' office experience in a similar position
• At least 10 years previous sea going experience as Master on bulk carriers
• Familiarity with regulations and ISM Code
• Fluency in Greek and English
• Knowledge of Navision
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
