Communications Director

A highly established European company is looking for a Communication Director to join their Marine & Offshore Division.

Based in Paris, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a fluent English speaker to join a company with an excellent reputation, spanning over 100 companies in the world, with an employee base of over 60,000.

Requirements:

• 10 years experience in communication
• Fluent English speaker (French also beneficial)
• Good evidential knowledge of maritime and offshore industry
• Background in either oil and gas or marine - ship building experience is highly sought
• Willingness to travel for work

Your role will include:

• Responsibility for crisis communication and acting as spokesperson for press
• Preparation of press releases
• Development of communication policy with Director of Offshore division and regional and local business managers
• Selection of relevant expeditions, shows and conferences for representatives of company to attend
• Drafting of sales and marketing brochures
• Coordination of editorial boards for newsletters

In return, you should expect a salary of approximately €100-120,000 plus bonus scheme, pension and health care as standard.
