A/C Reefer Engineer

My client is a leading vessel management company operating worldwide who are currently looking to recruit A/C Reefer Engineers for their cruise ships. These are permanent positions working approximately 3 months on and 3 months off, with an element of flexibility required.

Reporting to the Hotel Service Engineer on board, as A/C Reefer Engineer you will be responsible for all the air conditioning and refrigeration systems and machinery on board.

To be considered for this position you’ll need to have previous seagoing experience in cruise, wet or dry cargo, or North Sea experience.

Candidates must hold all STCW certification, discharge book and medical plus a national diploma or certificate for refrigeration technician or mechanical engineer (BSc) or equivalent with study in HVAC/refrigeration systems or relevant work experience as refrigeration engineer.
