We are currently recruiting for a temporary Chief Engineer for our client’s research vessel.

Dates: 23 April – 25 June 2016 including 25 days per month accrued leave. (Please note travel may depart 1 days prior to this start date)

Ports joining & Leaving: Join in Southampton and depart in Southampton

Salary: £48146 - £59273 per annum (depending on experience)

Candidates are required to hold the following documentation;

• Certificate of Competency Chief Engineer III/2 (no restriction – Motorships)
• Seafarer Medical Certificate (ENG1) without restrictions
• STCW basic safety training (Firefighting, Personal survival techniques, Personal safety & social responsibility, Elementary first aid)
• STCW Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
• STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
• EU Passport
• Discharge book for UK registered vessels.
• Safety Officer (desirable)
