Safety Officer

For one of our clients, an international FPSO owner and operator, we are currently recruiting Safety Officers, Night Safety Officers and Assistant Safety Officers.

These positions will initially be based in South East Asia for the commissioning phase, after which the FPSO will move to West Africa, with 1st oil expected in December 2016.

Suitable candidates will have the following background:

• Have completed education and meet the standard of STCW code A-II/2 for chief mates on tankers ≥ 3000 GR
• Meet standard of NEBOSH International General Certificate or higher
• At least 2 years of experience in the same position
• Safety awareness training for seafarers with Designated Security Duties
• Advanced fire fighting
• Survival craft and rescue boats operation
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Valid vaccination (Yellow fever, hepatitis B)
