Civil Engineer (Contract)

We are working with Aramco Overseas Company, the overseas arm of the Saudi Arabian national oil company, Saudi Aramco. We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Madrid, working on the Fadhili project.

This position offers the right person the chance to be working with a market leader in the Oil & Gas sector, and will be forming part of the PMC team on a major project. As such, we are looking for a talented individual with sound experience on similar projects, preferably with knowledge of Aramco systems and processes.

The job holder will be a subject matter expert, able to call upon a demonstrable track record, with vast knowledge and excellent experience within Civil engineering. Experience will be within a lead, principal or managerial capacity within the industry, whilst previous dealings with Saudi Aramco will be highly valued, either as a direct hire, or as part of an EPC team working on an Aramco project.

On offer is a competitive hourly rate, coupled with a long term, secure contract. Relocation packages are available for candidates outside of a reasonable commuting distance from Madrid.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Supervision of civil engineering in design and production of calculations
• Design of structures, equipment foundations and specialist structures
• Responsible to plan and conduct work needed for the project
