Corrosion Technician with NACE certification

We have partnered with an expanding Midstream company that is looking for a Corrosion Technician.

Responsibilities of Corrosion Technician:

• Control surveys, bi-monthly rectifier and critical bond inspections while maintaining the appropriate documents for the regulatory agencies and the companies S.O.Ps
• Support all Pipeline Integrity programs
• Perform regularly scheduled inspections of corrosion control systems for the Gas Processing Plant and Pipelines
• Maintain and document all records to comply with all regulatory and requirements for the plant
• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot all corrosion control protections systems and associated equipment
• Support all corrosion control related activities associated with new construction projects and maintenance

Minimum experience, skills and qualifications for Corrosion Technician:

• 5 plus years of Corrosion Control experience
• NACE Corrosion Technician certification is required
• Internal Corrosion Mitigation experience including, pigging, treatment, H2S exposure and coupon analysis
• External Corrosion knowledge of atmospheric, coating evaluations and anomaly evaluations
• Experience with Close Interval Surveys (CIS)
• Knowledge of Foreign Line Crossings
