Project Engineering Manager - LNG (Contract)

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas leader that is looking for a Project Engineering Manager with LNG experience.

The Project Engineering Manager - LNG position will be based in Houston.

Responsibilities for the Project Engineering Manager - LNG position:

• Developing and implementing improvements to the processes used by the engineering department for providing engineering services to our client
• Responsible for planning and directing the engineering activities on a project; establishing a detailed project design scope and development of the overall project engineering budget; developing design and procurement schedules for approval
• Effectively and professionally coordinate engineering efforts with project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls
• Review and approve design documents, change orders, material requisitions and specifications for construction
• Coordinate design activities among design groups on the project, prepare or direct the preparation of project studies, reports, and forecasts; manage the flow of information required from third parties to assure the timely progress of the engineering work
• Review project engineering progress against approved schedules, evaluate changes and take corrective action when required

Required Experience and Skills for the Project Engineering Manager - LNG position:

• 15 years' minimum experience in performing Project Engineering in the oil and gas and/or petro-chemical industry
• LNG experience is a must
• Excellent knowledge of current industry standards regarding design engineering
• Must be capable of driving change and have very high technical and ethical standards
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Leadership and motivational talents required to assemble project teams to meet the customer's needs
