Structural Engineer

We have partnered with a Global Engineering Consultancy leader that is looking for a Structural Engineer.

The Structural Engineer position will be based in Houston.

Responsibilities for the Structural Engineer position:

• Design structural elements in various building types and materials
• Prepare and review drawings detailing the systems designed
• System design calculations
• Coordinate of work with engineers of other disciplines
• Client facing experience
• Work on defined tasks under the close supervision of a Senior Engineer

Required Experience and Skills for the Structural Engineer position:

• Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a sound knowledge of Structural Engineering fundamentals
• 2 to 4 years of experience in the design of building structures
• Strong three-dimensional visualization skills (e.g. Revit, Rhino, etc.)
• EIT/PE/SE license desired
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
• Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
