Environmental Officer

The Company

I am currently working with leading Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Engineer / Officer on board.

The Role

As Environmental Officer you will enjoy a varied role.Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all documentation regarding environmental operations is up to date, managing the safe operation of all sewage and waste disposal systems, ensuring that environmental operations exceed international and local regulations, planning and executing shore side disposal of waste streams, running the monitoring and maintenance of all recreational water facilities and providing guidance to senior management on environmental matters.

You will have frequent updates with different departments on board, focus on forward planning, and prepare environmental plans for upcoming cruises.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Environmental qualification / 2nd Engineer Unlimited or higher
• Management skills
• Global sailing experience preferred
• Fluent English language skills
