HSE Manager

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a HSE Manager.

The HSE Manager position will be based in Houston.

Responsibilities for the HSE Manager:

• Assist in HSE program development and coordinate implementation.
• Observe, monitor and analyze existing operating and/or HSE procedures to determine compliance to standards and informs departments of relevant regulatory and company HSE related performance requirements.
• Administers the development and presentation of safety and environmental training programs and conducts associated training in accordance with OSHA, EPA and company HSE requirements.
• Conducts root cause analysis of recordable accidents significant near miss incidents and/ or incidents of significant property damage, conducts inter-company reporting requirements and related recordkeeping. Develops corrective action plans for root cause analyses conducted.
• Expedite removal and correction of safety hazards in order to comply with OSHA standards and regulatory policies.

Required Experience and Education for the HSE Manager:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety or related preferred + 10 years' experience in applicable Oil & Gas Industry or manufacturing or 15 years professional level experience.
• BCSP certifications strongly desired
• Experience must include responsibility for safety training.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standards, RCRA, SWPPP, and BSEE SEMS requirements
• Experience in the development of written HSE program and policies.
