PMC Mechanical Engineer

We are working with Aramco Overseas Company, the overseas arm of the Saudi Arabian national oil company, Saudi Aramco. We are currently seeking an Mechanical Engineer to be based in Beijing, working on the new build Jazan Refinery and Economic City complex, specifically on the IGCC power plant to be constructed to power the whole development

This position offers the right person the chance to be working with a market leader in the Oil & Gas sector, and will be forming part of the PMC team on a major project. As such, we are looking for a talented individual with sound experience on similar projects, preferably with knowledge of Aramco systems and processes.

The job holder will be a subject matter expert, able to call upon a demonstrable track record, with vast knowledge and excellent experience within mechanical engineering. Experience will be within a lead, principal or managerial capacity within the industry, whilst previous dealings with Saudi Aramco will be highly valued, either as a direct hire, or as part of an EPC team working on an Aramco project.
On offer is a competitive hourly rate, coupled with a long term, secure contract. Relocation packages are available for candidates outside of a reasonable commuting distance from Beijing

SKILLS REQUIRED:

-Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.

-Extensive experience in projects/processes within large infrastructure and development projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
-Operate in strict compliance with Saudi Aramco policies, standards, procedures and processes.
-Solid knowledge of design techniques and tools.
-Expert in using mechanical international codes and standards in both engineering and design.
-Evaluating all mechanical related design documents and ensuring all mechanical works are performed in accordance with project agreements, safety and quality standards.
-Must have knowledge of Oil & Gas related projects.
-Experience as a Department Manager in running multinational teams.
-High quality control system in engineering design.
-Experience on FEED and EPC projects.
-Effective Communication with key stakeholders.
